Individual Therapist
Nathaniel “Nate” Sallans, MSW
Registered Clinical Social Work Intern
I have been blessed to work with adults, adolescents, and families in both clinical and faith-based settings, focusing on helping individuals overcome trauma, crisis, and emotional distress. I served in the United States Air Force as Security Forces and later worked with individuals with varying levels of intellectual and developmental disabilities. These experiences have strengthened my ability to meet people where they are, understand their unique challenges, and help them find hope and motivation for change.
I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Troy University and my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida State University. I have specialized training in crisis response and trauma-informed care and utilize a holistic, strength-based approach that integrates multiple therapeutic modalities to support transformation of the mind, body, and spirit.
I enjoy working with individuals and strive to create a supportive, empowering, and compassionate environment. My areas of focus include trauma recovery, depression, anxiety, motivation, and life transitions. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused techniques, I tailor each session to meet clients where they are and help them identify the strengths and values that will guide them forward. My mission is to help people discover their reason for change and guide them in finding their own personal “recipe for success” that empowers healing and long-term growth.
I am available for virtual sessions within the state of Florida and look forward to partnering with you on a journey toward healing, balance, and purpose-driven change. I look forward to talking with your in more detail about how I can support you on your journey of growth and healing.
