Refund & Cancellation Policy

We value your time and ours, and we strive to provide clear and fair policies for scheduling and billing. By booking an appointment through our practice or website, you agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

1. No Refunds

All fees for therapy sessions, consultations, and related services are non-refundable. Once payment is processed, no refunds or credits will be issued for attended or missed sessions except as required by applicable law.

2. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • 24-Hour Notice Required: Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time.

  • Late Cancellations / No-Shows: If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or fail to attend your appointment without notice, you will be charged the full session fee.

  • How to Cancel: To cancel or reschedule, contact us via [insert preferred method—phone, email, or SimplePractice portal] at least 24 hours before your session.

3. Emergency Exceptions

We understand emergencies can happen. At our discretion, we may waive the cancellation fee for verified emergencies or circumstances beyond your control. Please contact us as soon as possible if an emergency arises.

4. Payment Terms

  • All payments are due at the time of service or as otherwise agreed in writing.

  • By scheduling a session, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for session fees and applicable cancellation fees.

  • If payment is declined, future appointments may be suspended until your account is current.

5. Insurance Reimbursement

We are currently an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. Upon request, we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurer. Any reimbursement from your insurance company is strictly between you and your insurer; we do not guarantee coverage or payment.

6. Refund Policy Scope

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to all therapy services, including (but not limited to):

  • Individual Therapy

  • Couples Counseling

  • Family Therapy

  • Anxiety & CBT

  • Trauma & EMDR

  • OCD & ERP

If you purchase other services, workshops, or materials, they will be subject to their own stated policies at the time of purchase.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update or revise this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will apply to sessions scheduled after the revised policy goes into effect. The “Effective Date” above reflects the latest version.
